Car Engines
When your car or pick-up truck is at the end of its life, what happens next? You can scrap it and help the environment. If you want to promote a healthier environment, come to Diversity Recycling.
Car recyclers have worked with us for years to preserve the world around us and you can too.
The Automotive Recycling Process
Wondering about our process for car salvage? We process vehicles for recycling in the safest possible way.
The first step to recycle a vehicle safely is to remove the battery. If left in the environment, a dead battery can leak harmful toxins. All components of automotive batteries are safely recycled.
Once the battery is removed, other harmful materials found in the vehicle, such as air conditioning fluids and mercury switches, are removed. This process prevents these products from contaminating air quality or leaking and polluting soil.
The next step is to disassemble larger items. Once that is done, the vehicle is crushed and baled and shipped to a smelter to be melted down in to raw steel. The resulting raw material can then be used in a manufacturing process once again.
Car Recycling Made Easy
We make automotive recycling easy. Simply drop off your vehicle and we will do the rest. You can feel good about helping the environment and make a few extra dollars in the process.
